Designed by Jason, each of these stocked collections have been created to provide an eclectic mix of innovative textures, patterns and colours. With exquisite attention to detail, these versatile ranges combine classic and contemporary inspiration with flamboyant and elegant styling.
Often on a grand scale, his extensive range of indulgent fabrics have immense attention to detail, texture and pattern. Jason works closely with his carefully selected suppliers around the world, ensuring that the fastidious care applied during the design stage is not lost or diluted in production.
Many of Jason’s fabrics have been used on luxury yachts, private jets, in five star hotels and high end residencies, and have found their way into the homes of some famous personalities as well as former Prime Ministers. Other prestigious projects have included the cruise liner Queen Mary II, a special silk velvet produced for Tom Ford’s seating for his catwalk shows and recently the lobby of London’s new landmark, The Shard.

Jason’s fabrics are a showcase of style and innovation. It is his inimitable approach that has led him to offer a unique service, creating bespoke and couture ranges, as well as exclusive commissions for individual schemes.
The Jason D’Souza bespoke service has resulted in some very exciting and diverse projects from cutting edge penthouses to film and television. These have included the re-creation of fabric for a Russian Opera House scene in ‘Anna Karenina’ staring Jude law and Keira Knightley. Other films Jason’s fabrics have been used in include ‘Sherlock Holmes’, ‘Interview With A Vampire’, ‘Girl With The Pearl Earring’ and most recently ‘Cinderella’’.

THE FABRIC OF JASON D’SOUZA:
A PERSONAL JOURNEY...
As a graduate of Chelsea School of Art where he majored in fashion and textiles, Jason started his career as a textile designer, working for a fashion house. It wasn’t until he was made redundant a year later that he re-focused his ambitions and decided to take the plunge to launch his own range and set up a small design studio of his own.
EARLY BEGINNINGS
Jason’s first foray into the world of fabric design was the creation of a collection of silk embellished cushions, which he screen-printed and hand-painted himself. Jason’s journey from there literally started as he walked down Sloane Street presenting his artisan cushions to the prestigious retailers located there. Through passion, determination and a lot of knocking on doors, Jason secured his first order with the General Trading Company.
BRANCHING OUT ON HIS OWN
Jason’s next big break followed on quickly when Harvey Nichols placed an initial order for several dozen cushions and then, despite being an unknown brand, Jason was offered a prestigious front window display in Harrods. From this amazing springboard, working night and day to fulfil demand for his hand-made products, the Jason D’Souza signature design was established.
ESTABLISHING THE JASON D’SOUZA BRAND
Soon Jason expanded his designs to include luxury throws, drapes and fabric sold by the metre that was stocked exclusively at Liberty’s in Regent Street. It was all extremely challenging, but they were exciting times too, and ones he looks back on with pride and accomplishment.
OUR CHELSEA HARBOUR HOME
From Jason’s small studio in Islington all those years ago, to now, with his showroom in the prestigious Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, Jason’s love and passion for what he does remains as powerful as ever. He still gets the same joy and excitement in creating innovative and irresistible fabrics as he did over 30 years ago.
VISIT OUR SHOWROOM
The long-established showroom in the renowned Chelsea Harbour Design Centre showcases all of Jason D’Souza collections, as well as being home to his design studio, which has been the hub of his creative exploration. The showroom is located on the first floor where all Jason’s collections can be viewed in a relaxed and friendly environment.
In addition to the Jason D’Souza collections, the showroom also represents companies Agena and Decobel. These established brands offer a range of fabrics and wall coverings to compliment the Jason D’Souza collection.
